Hometown: I'm a bit of a gypsy but if I had to pick one, Denver feels more like home than any other place I've lived.

What do you love to do outside of work: Mom-ing is a hobby right? Outside of that, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, hiking, cooking, yoga, dance, running and reading. I love the library!

What you do for a living: Administrative/Clerical work for the Denver Health Paramedic Division.

Favorite food:  Homemade "Swiss style" fondue with fruit and fresh french bread.

If you were a baseball player, what would your  “walkup song” be: Hit Me With Your Best Shot - Pat Benatar

Favorite vacation destination: Upstate New York - in the Summer.

What do you enjoy about your job?  I am a caregiver at heart and believe that if I operate at an exceptional administrative level – it will allow the rest of the Paramedic Division to better focus on what we do best as a team. Exploring the current administrative procedures and dissecting them to reevaluate how we can improve, has been challenging! Contributing to the longevity and success of The Paramedic Division is part of how I can still take part in a caregiver role somehow. Taking care of the Paramedics – even from an administrative role – brings me the satisfaction and fulfillment I had hoped for when I took this position. I am proud to work for such a wonderful group of people who have built their careers around helping others, and I am happy to be a part of that… even if it is from a desk chair and not on the front lines.

Tell us something people may not know about you: I took flying lessons years ago with the intent of obtaining my pilots license. By some miracle of a chance, I was offered the opportunity to fly (a very small plane) through the Black Canyon in Montrose Co, at midnight, under a full moon, AS THE PILOT and not a student in training. It was terrifying but one of the most amazing experiences of my short life.
